The LCTL Center currently offers two certificates and nine minors. LCTL certificates typically require four language courses and a few related electives, for a total of 18-24 credits. You must apply for LCTL certificates through the associated language programs. See links below for details. LCTL minors consist of four language courses and one related elective, for a total of 17 credits. You can declare a LCTL minor directly through the Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences by submitting an Academic Plan Change Form to Student Records in 140 Thackeray Hall.
American Sign Language Certificate
The LCTL Center offers an 18-credit undergraduate certificate in ASL Studies. Students who are interested in the ASL Studies Certificate can apply for entrance into that certificate program early each spring semester.
